We wrapped up another successful week of predictions with a 9-5 record, and are expecting continued success in week 12 of the NFL season. Anyone that has bet $100 on every one of our selections this year would be up nearly $2000, but we aren't stopping just yet!
Record against the point spread: 65-43
Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins -3.5
The Eagles have plenty of issues but they don't deserve to be this large of an underdog against a team that can't play any defense.
Green Bay Packers -3.5 at Detroit Lions
The Packers are playing much better lately but the Lions have a better defense and are healthier. Go with the home team to cover the point spread.
Arizona Cardinals at Atlanta Falcons -10
Atlanta has been one of the best teams in football but I don't think they can cover this large of a point spread against a team with one of the 10 best defenses in the NFL.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers -1.5 at Carolina Panthers
Tampa Bay has been a great prediction recently but the Panthers are better than they have shown. Carolina is at home and I like them as the underdog in a high-scoring game.
Cleveland Browns at Dallas Cowboys -7.5
The Browns are playing strong defense lately and the Cowboys like to make mistakes on offense. I have to go with Cleveland catching over a touchdown on Sunday.
New York Jets at St. Louis Rams -3
New York can't score on the road against legitimate defenses and I think the Rams are a much-improved team with a healthy Danny Amendola at wide receiver. St. Louis wins by double digits here.
Indianapolis Colts at New England Patriots -9.5
The Patriots are capable of scoring huge points but their defense isn't capable of stopping many teams. I could see the Colts winning outright here.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans -14.5
Jacksonville doesn't have the defense to stop Houston, nor the offense to move the ball against the Texans. The home team wins by at least 20.
Cincinnati Bengals -3.5 at Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City can't stop anyone from scoring but they may be able to move the ball here. That being said, they are the worst team in the NFL and I don't trust them. My money is on the Bengals.
New Orleans Saints -5.5 at Oakland Raiders
The Saints are playing much better recently but they still can't stop anyone. Despite injuries at running back the Raiders should be able to score plenty of points as well and possibly win outright.
San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos -7.5
San Diego makes too many mistakes on defense to stop this team, and Denver won't have to wait until the 2nd half to blow out their divisional rival this time around.
Baltimore Ravens -3.5 at Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are a vastly different team without Ben Roethlisberger at quarterback, but the Ravens might be the most overrated team in the NFL right now. Go with Pittsburgh to find a way to keep it close at home.
Chicago Bears at San Francisco 49ers -6
The Bears will have issues moving the ball with Jay Cutler expected to be sidelined, and the 49ers will take advantage of field position and turnovers while winning by 10.
