We pulled out a winning weekend last time out but still have room for improvement if we want to get over .500 before the season is over. We were on the Stanford Cardinal as they won outright over the Oregon Ducks as a 20.5-point underdog and also rode the Vanderbilt Commodores as small favorites as they dominated the Tennessee Volunteers. Week 13 has a few incredible bets to make and we'll go over what we hope to be easy winners.
Record against the point spread: 33-38
Michigan at Ohio State -4
The Wolverines are too mistake prone to win this game, and we like Ohio State to cover the spread as they stop Michigan from moving the ball while finding holes in the opposition's defense.
Georgia Tech at Georgia -14.5
The Bulldogs have been the superior team this season, but there are some reasons to like Georgia Tech here. The Yellow Jackets' run-heavy offense will grind the clock and support the underdog, while rivalry games are generally close anyway. Go with Georgia Tech.
Texas Tech at Baylor -3.5
Baylor can't stop anyone and their offense will struggle more than normal against Texas Tech. The Red Raiders likely win this outright.
Auburn at Alabama -33
Auburn won't be able to score or move the ball at all, while the Crimson Tide will be set up with easy touchdowns throughout. 33 is a big number but Alabama needs an impressive win to keep their BCS hopes alive and will get a victory by at least 40.
Stanford -3 at UCLA
The Cardinal have a nice defense but can't score. UCLA has a nice offense but can't stop anyone. I'll take the underdog at home and go with the Bruins.
Oregon -10 at Oregon State
The Ducks have trouble scoring against good defenses and Oregon State has one of those. Oregon won't be as motivated now that their BCS Championship hopes are dashed and I think the Beavers can win outright here.
Florida at Florida State -7
The Gators have plenty of issues on offense but aren't facing one of the elite defenses in college football. The Seminoles don't deserve to be favored here and I've seen enough football over the past decade to know that betting on the SEC team is the right choice.
Notre Dame -5.5 at USC
The Fighting Irish can't score and I think they'll make produce some big turnovers here that doom their title hopes. USC has flaws but they match up well with Notre Dame and don't deserve to be this large of an underdog against an offense that can't score.
