We crushed Las Vegas in week 14 by going 12-4 against the point spread and are back for more in week 15. This season has been an incredible run for anyone placing money on our NFL predictions and I'm even more confident in the late season schedule than I have been at any point during the regular season.
Record against the point spread: 97-66
Cincinnati Bengals -5 @ Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles looked better in their win last week and Nick Foles is capable of making the fast decisions that Michael Vick couldn't. That being said, the Eagles are still a poor team and the Bengals win easily.
Green Bay Packers -3 @ Chicago Bears
Chicago is falling apart and it's obvious that their defense was a bit overrated. The offense can't pass protect Jay Cutler and I see the Packers winning in a blowout.
New York Giants @ Atlanta Falcons -1.5
Atlanta is much more impressive in the win/loss column than they are on the field and I believe that finally catches up to them as they lose at home as favorites against the Giants.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New Orleans Saints -3.5
Tampa Bay did not look good last time out but I like them in a high-scoring game as underdogs of larger than a field goal. The Saints can't stop anyone from scoring and the Buccaneers will run for 200+ yards here.
Minnesota Vikings @ St. Louis Rams -3
The Rams have a nice defense but their offense doesn't move the ball well. Minnesota has the defense to stop them and an edge on offense, so I like the road underdog.
Washington Redskins -1.5 @ Cleveland Browns
Cleveland is playing some strong football recently and the status of Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III is up in the air. The Browns are at home against a defense that doesn't stop many teams so I'll take them.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Miami Dolphins -7
Miami has plenty of issues and doesn't play with a ton of consistency from week to week, but ultimately they are better on both sides of the ball and I'll call for them to get the key turnovers while winning by 10.
Denver Broncos -2.5 @ Baltimore Ravens
The Broncos have been a nice story and I've called the Ravens one of the most overrated teams in the NFL this year. That being said, Peyton Manning and company are also overrated right now and I think Baltimore uses their running game to put up big points and win outright.
Indianapolis Colts @ Houston Texans -8
The Colts have been finding ways to win games but they are going to be on the wrong end of a crushing loss here. Houston is better everywhere, at home, and fired up after being embarassed on primetime television. Texans by 14 or more.
Carolina Panthers @ San Diego Chargers -3
I don't buy into Carolina being an improved team all of a sudden, but it's also hard to trust the Chargers considering how terrible they play at times. Ultimately I'm going with San Diego since they are at home and a better team, but this is a tough one to call.
Seattle Seahawks -5.5 @ Buffalo Bills
The Bills won't be able to score on the Seahawks and they won't be able to stop the running game defensively. The NFC West is the best division in football and it will show on Sunday.
Detroit Lions -6.5 @ Arizona Cardinals
Arizona can't do anything right and they'll be lucky if they leave this game with a healthy quarterback on the roster. Go with Detroit against a team that quit last week.
Pittsburgh Steelers -1.5 @ Dallas Cowboys
The Steelers need a win badly and will get it. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is getting healthier and the defense is as well. Pittsburgh wins and dashes the Cowboys' playoff hopes in the process.
Kansas City Chiefs @ Oakland Raiders -3
Oakland and Kansas City might be the 2 worst teams in the NFL and this game is a coin flip. Ultimately I'm taking the Raiders since they are at home, but they could lose by 40 without surprising me much.
San Francisco 49ers @ New England Patriots -5.5
The Patriots have been dominant lately but they won't be able to move the ball at will agianst the NFL's best defense. Quarterback Colin Kaepernick will have the 49ers offense rolling and I'm calling for the outright upset.
New York Jets @ Tennessee Titans -1.5
The Jets need this game more, but Tennessee is playing better football lately. Ultimately the Titans can't stop anyone and I think Mark Sanchez and his teammates find a way to win a game they desperately need.
