NFL Odds Preview - Week 11 Predictions
By Jake Thompson

nfl week 11 predictionsWe started out our week 10 NFL predictions with losses in 4 of 5 games but rebounded to finish off at 8-5-1.  Our predictions called for the New Orleans Saints and Seattle Seahawks to win in blowouts which came true, and we also called for upsets by the Carolina Panthers and the Baltimore Ravens which were money in the bank.  There is still work to be done this season to get our record above .500 and it very well could happen in week 10.

NFL Record Year-to-Date: 56-59-1

Atlanta Falcons at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Pick

The Buccaneers aren't a very good team but the Falcons are on the road with huge issues on both sides of the ball so go with Tampa bay.

New York Jets -1 at Buffalo Bills

Trusting Geno Smith and the Jets on the road is tough to do, but New York has the defense to keep Buffalo from doing much so I'm going with the road favorite.

Detroit Lions -3 at Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers are showing improvement in recent weeks and I'm not confident that Detroit can win on the road back-to-back.  Go with Pittsburgh.

Washington Redskins at Philadelphia Eagles -4.5

Philadelphia has looked much better recently but they still have no defense and quarterback Nick Foles has gotten extremely lucky.  I think the Redskins win fairly easily on Sunday.

San Diego Chargers -1.5 at Miami Dolphins

Miami's offensive line is a mess right now and they can't move the ball on anyone.  San Diego has what it takes to win on the road here.

Baltimore Ravens at Chicago Bears -3

The Bears will have Josh McCown at quarterback for this game but the Ravens are a poor team.  They shelled out too much money to Joe Flacco and now have holes all over the place as a result.  Take Chicago.

Cleveland Browns at Cincinnati Bengals -5.5

The Browns have one of the better defenses in football and the offense is improving, but I think they are in over their heads here.  Cincinnati should roll at home.

Oakland Raiders at Houston Texans -9.5

Oakland won't have Terrelle Pryor at quarterback in this game and they are going to lose by 30 or more.  Houston has a ton of talent and is ready to explode.

Arizona Cardinals -8 at Jacksonville Jaguars

The Cardinals aren't a good team on the road but I'm not convinced that the Jaguars have turned the corner on being awful just because of one fairly lucky win.  Go with Arizona to win by 2-3 touchdowns.

Kansas City Chiefs at Denver Broncos -7.5

Kansas City's defense won't be able to stop the Broncos and the offense won't be able to score enough to keep up.  Denver wins by double digits.

Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks -12.5

The Vikings have absolutely no chance here and Seattle's defense could feasibly outscore Minnesota's offense.  Go with the Seahawks to win big at home as they usually do.

San Francisco 49ers at New Orleans Saints -3.5

The 49ers have looked iffy because of injuries at points this season but should be as healthy as they have been all season against the Saints.  San Francisco dominated this team last year and will do so again on Sunday.

Green Bay Packers at New York Giants -4

The Packers don't have Aaron Rodgers at quarterback and their defense doesn't look good when the offense isn't staking them a nice lead.  Go with New York to continue their resurgence with an 8-point win.

New England Patriots at Carolina Panthers -3

The Panthers have been hot lately and have a great defense, but unfortunately a healthy New England offense can beat them.  I like the Patriots to win this game outright while scoring 30 or more.
