We finished up week 11 with a record of 8-5-1 and are finally starting to heat up. We've gone 16-10-2 over the last 2 weeks of the NFL season and there are some incredible week 12 games to make predictions on. The best game of the week is the matchup between the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots on Sunday night, but the Monday Night Football matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Washington Redskins should be entertaining as well.
NFL Record Year-to-Date: 64-64-2
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions -9
The Buccaneers have been playing better football lately but I'm not sure their defense is going to be able to stop the Lions. Go with Detroit to win big at home.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Houston Texans -10
The Texans find ways to lose games they should win but I have zero faith in the Jaguars and think they'll lose be 20-30 points here.
Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers -4
The Packers looked terrible without Aaron Rodgers last week but should be fine against a Vikings defense which might be the worst in the NFL. Go with Green Bay at home.
San Diego Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs -4.5
I really like the Chargers in this spot. Kansas City doesn't win big often and San Diego should be able to play a competitive game while potentially winning outright.
Carolina Panthers -4 at Miami Dolphins
The Panthers have been on a roll and the Dolphins are so injured along their offensive line that they don't have a chance to score many points. I like Carolina to win by 10 or so.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Cleveland Browns -1
This one is tough but the Steelers are getting healthier and I think they have enough momentum to pull off a tough road win.
Chicago Bears at St. Louis Rams -1
The Rams are playing some defense lately and Chicago might be in over their head without Jay Cutler throwing passes. Go with the improving Rams to win at home.
New York Jets at Baltimore Ravens -3.5
I'm not sure if either of these can move the ball much here so it makes sense to take the points. Baltimore just hasn't looked right all week and a couple of field goals might be all the Jets need.
Tennessee Titans -1 at Oakland Raiders
Matthew McGloin looked excellent in his first start for the Raiders last week and I think this team can win at home. Tennessee is decent on both sides of the ball but could struggle in this tough road environment.
Indianapolis Colts at Arizona Cardinals -2.5
NFL teams always struggle when they have to play in the desert and the Colts are having a couple rough weeks recently. Go with the Cardinals at home.
Dallas Cowboys at New York Giants -2.5
The Giants are improving quite a bit recently but Dallas is going to score on them at will. Take the underdog in this rivalry game.
Denver Broncos -2.5 at New England Patriots
Denver is a tough team for anyone to beat but I think the Patriots can get it done at home in a high-scoring matchup.
San Francisco 49ers -6 at Washington Redskins
The 49ers are hit-or-miss most weeks but this looks like a good matchup for them. San Francisco is finally getting healthy and Washington's defense won't be able to stop them from winning big.
