When we were destroying sportsbooks left and right last year we waited until the end of the year for our biggest push and it doesn't appear much has changed in 2013. Our week 14 predictions went 11-3 against the Las Vegas point spread odds and we'll aim to keep hitting at a high rate as we head into week 15.
NFL Record Year-to-Date: 83-71-3
San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos -10.5
Denver can score about just any team in the NFL but their secondary is a trainwreck right now. Go with the Chargers to score enough points to keep it close.
Washington Redskins at Atlanta Falcons -7
The Redskins have benched Robert Griffin III for the rest of the season but Kirk Cousins might be the better option. Atlanta can't stop anyone right now so Washington makes for a nice play.
San Francisco 49ers -5.5 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccaneers are largely improved but a healthy 49ers team spells trouble for anyone. Go with San Francisco to win big.
Arizona Cardinals -3 at Tennessee Titans
Arizona has struggled to play on the road this season and Tennessee has a nice defense that should excel here. I like the Titans to win big at home.
New Orleans Saints -6 at St. Louis Rams
The Saints are another team that struggles on the road but it's tough to trust the Rams of late. Ultimately St. Louis could win this but I'll put my money on Drew Brees and his teammates.
Seattle Seahawks -7 at New York Giants
The Seahawks haven't moved the ball well away from Seattle this year and New York's defense is improving. I'm not sure Eli Manning and company can move the ball effectively here but you have to take the Giants as a 7-point underdog at home.
Chicago Bears -1.5 at Cleveland Browns
Jay Cutler is back for the Bears but it won't matter here. Cleveland has a huge edge defensively and they should win outright.
Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts -5.5
The Texans should be one of the elite teams in the NFL but they keep finding ways to lose. I hate taking them on the road against a team that needs a win but that is exactly what I'm going to do.
Buffalo Bills -2 at Jacksonville Jaguars
The Bills have no defense and the Jaguars have no offense so this game could go either way. Ultimately I think Buffalo is a tick better than Jacksonville overall so take the Bills.
New England Patriots -1.5 at Miami Dolphins
Tom Brady doesn't do as well without Rob Gronkowski healthy and Miami is a team that finds way to win games they shouldn't have a chance at. I think the Dolphins find a way to win another one here.
Philadelphia Eagles -4.5 at Minnesota Vikings
The Eagles are on a roll but I still have big questions about their defense. That being said, Minnesota is likely to be without Adrian Peterson at running back and the Vikings can't stop anyone. Go with Philly.
New York Jets at Carolina Panthers -11
The Jets don't move the ball on the road at all and they will be going up against what might be the best defense in the NFL in week 15. Carolina wins by 30 or more.
Kansas City Chiefs -4.5 at Oakland Raiders
Oakland has been showing signs of life behind quarterback Matt McGloin but they are in over their heads here. Kansas City is much better on both sides of the ball and should win by 10.
Cincinnati Bengals -2.5 at Pittsburgh Steelers
The Steelers are eliminated from the playoffs now so it remains to be seen what type of effort we get out of them. I think they are too proud to put in a bad effort and they'll pull out a win here.
Baltimore Ravens at Detroit Lions -6
The Lions are another team that is doomed by stupid mistakes, but Baltimore has proven to be lackluster on both sides of the ball. Ultimately I think the underdog is the play in what could be a tight game.
NOTE: There are no odds up on the week 15 NFL game between the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys as we await the playing status of quarterback Aaron Rodgers. As a result, we will not be making predictions on this game.
