Our college football predictions have been a disaster over the last month of the season but there is still plenty of time to turn it around. The best time to make money each year is toward the end of the season because you have a ton of knowledge and information to look back upon. I've never put together a losing record at college football or NFL with these predictions and don't intent to start now so let's get back to our winning ways as we head into week 14 of the schedule.
College Football Year-to-Date Record: 27-35
Stanford at #8 UCLA -5
The Cardinal have suffered some ugly losses this season but I still think they are a better team than UCLA. The Bruins are tough to trust and I don't think their offense is as good as last year's. Look for UCLA to struggle to move the ball as they fall outright.
#13 Arizona State at #11 Arizona -2.5
Arizona State seems to have a small edge defensively but Arizona's offense appears to be a bit more reliable. Ultimately I think the Sun Devils are a tick better overall and like them as the underdog here in what should be a close game.
Michigan at #6 Ohio State -21
This rivalry doesn't have the same spark as it has had in years prior since the Wolverines are underperforming regularly. Ohio State has some huge issues to figure out on defense but the Wolverines aren't capable of moving the ball this season. Take the Buckeyes.
#16 Georgia Tech at #9 Georgia -13
Call me crazy but I think the Yellow Jackets have a legitimate chance to pull off this upset. Their running game and tough defense make for low-scoring and close games so either way 13 points seems like far too many. Let's call for the Bulldogs to win 27-24.
#18 Minnesota at #14 Wisconsin -14
I've had a hard time figuring out the Golden Gophers lately and I still don't trust their offense. Wisconsin is a far superior team but it's tough to say they are reliable enough to be favored by 14 here. Ultimately I think the Badgers have the offense to put up around 30 and can't see Minnesota getting to 17. Take Wisconsin.
Florida at #3 Florida State -7.5
The Seminoles could very well struggle to move the ball here as they have in recent weeks. The Gators' are limited offensively but these rivalry games sometimes make for tight contests that come down to the wire. All in all I don't think Florida can score enough to make this a game. Take the Seminoles.
#4 Mississippi State -2.5 at #19 Ole Miss
I feel Ole Miss would win easily if these teams met up at the start of the season but the Rebels seem to be falling apart ever since suffering a loss and losing their star wide receiver. This rivalry game should get their heads back in it and the better team will prevail as Ole Miss wins by 10.
#15 Auburn at #1 Alabama -15
Alabama is not the best team in the country this year as far as I'm concerned but with the way Auburn has fallen apart it's tough to trust them right now. Look for the Crimson Tide to be fired up in a revenge game as they won 20 or more.
