Week 15 was profitable for our predictions. We went 8-7-1, though we could've been better. The Texans were half a point from getting us a win, but blew it after giving up a late field goal in a tight game. The Panthers only won by two as a three-point betting favorite after giving up a late touchdown run in garbage time. We correctly called for the Cowboys to win outright on the road against the Eagles, and for the Jaguars to give the Ravens a game.
NFL Record Year-to-Date: 110-103-3
Philadelphia Eagles -7 at Washington Redskins
The Redskins can't defend the pass and the Eagles pass the ball well. Eagles by 13.
San Diego Chargers at San Francisco 49ers -1
San Francisco is eliminated from the playoffs and morale is an issue. I have to back the Chargers.
Minnesota Vikings at Miami Dolphins -6
Miami is dealing with quite a few injuries, but I just can't see the Vikings moving the ball. Dolphins by 10.
Green Bay Packers -11.5 at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Packers will put up 40-plus, and it should be enough to avoid a back door Tampa Bay cover in garbage time.
Detroit Lions -8.5 at Chicago Bears
The Jimmy Clausen show is finally here, and that spells doom for Chicago's offense. Take Detroit.
Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints -6.5
New Orleans doesn't play any defense, so it doesn't make sense that they are favored by 6.5 against an offense that can score with ease.
New England Patriots -10.5 at New York Jets
The Patriots seemingly should be able to win this easily, but you have to like the Jets at home as double digit underdogs in a rivalry game. Go with them.
Kansas City Chiefs at Pittsburgh Steelers -3
This game has all the markings of a shootout. Take the underdog Chiefs, though it could go either way.
Cleveland Browns at Carolina Panthers -4
Cam Newton is back, but his team still doesn't play much defense. Go with the flying Johnny Manziel's.
Baltimore Ravens -4.5 at Houston Texans
Houston has no reliable quarterback option right now, and is facing a top run defense. I have to back Baltimore.
New York Giants at St. Louis Rams -6.5
Everyone is putting their money on the Giants at this line, but Las Vegas is rarely wrong. St. Louis wins in a blowout.
Buffalo Bills -7 at Oakland Raiders
Oakland is a horrible team despite their recent victories. The Raiders won't be able to move the ball, so Buffalo will win big.
Indianapolis Colts at Dallas Cowboys -3.5
Dallas has some troubling injuries to their superstar offensive line, and I think Vontae Davis can contain Dez Bryant. Take the Colts.
Seattle Seahawks -7.5 at Arizona Cardinals
Seattle is a much better team, but Arizona always plays tough at home, and the Seahawks struggle to score on the road. The Cardinals lose by only three or four.
Denver Broncos -3 at Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals are a slightly above average team with holes on both sides of the ball that Denver can exploit. Take the Broncos.
