Week 10 College Football Preview
By Jacob Brandwein

No. 5 Notre Dame @ Pittsburgh

Time/TV: 12:00 PM EST, Nov. 7 ABC

Outlook: This matchup features the suprising pitt panthers looking to knock off a top 5 opponent in Notre Dame. Despite the loss of James Connor, the Panthers have been having a solid season. The Irish on the other hand are in the thick of the playoff hunt and look to continue their strong play in 2015. Behind strong play by Deshaun Kizer and a stout defense the Irish should win this matchup.

Notre Dame 31 Pittsburgh 19

No. 16 Florida State @ No. 1 Clemson

Time/TV: 3:30 PM EST, Nov. 7 ABC

Outlook: In one of the biggest matchups of the week we have the Noles traveling to top ranked Clemson in what could really shake up the playoff race. Deshaun Watson has been on a tear lately and looks to continue his strong play and lead his troops to make a conference statement. The Noles on the other hand are a little dinged up with Dalvin Cook and Everret Golston as we'll see how they respond to a hostile crowd on the road. Clemson is on fire right now and It will be difficult for a dinged up Florida State team to come in and beat the Tigers.

Clemson 32 Florida State 20

No. 8 TCU @ No. 14 Oklahoma State

Time/TV: 3:30 PM EST, Nov. 7 FOX

Outlook: In what should be a very intriguing game in the big 12, this features two of the better teams in the big 12. The key to this game will be who makes more timely defensive stops and Oklahoma State will need to find a way to slow down Trevone Boykin. TCU's defense has shown some signs of improvment the last couple of weeks, Oklahoma State's defense struggled against Texas Tech last week. At the end of the day, TCU has too much firepower and will come out on top.

TCU 55 Oklahoma State 45

No. 2 LSU @ No. 4 Alabama

Time/TV: 8:00 PM EST, Nov. 7 CBS

Outlook: This is the matchup college football fans have been waiting for! A massive SEC and top 5 showdown all woven into one! A Primetime bout between the Crimson Tide and the Tigers of LSU. How will Leonard Fournette fare against a stout Alabama defense? Will Jake Coker be able to step up in key moments against the Tigers defense? The key to this game is defense and time of possesion. Alabama also has the home field advantage which helps them intangibly. I give Alabama the edge in this showdown and they will plant themselves in the driver's seat for an SEC west title and a stronghold in the top 4.

Alabama 23 LSU 17

Last Week: 5-0

Season Record: 22-14
