No. 7 Baylor @ No. 19 TCU
Time/TV: 7:30 PM EST, Nov. 27 ESPN
Outlook: This is a crucial game especially for Baylor as they look to stay in the hunt for that top 4. Both teams are beat up and this should be an interesting matchup between the two squads. The X factor in this game will be running back Shock Linwood for Baylor. As long as Baylor can get him involved early and often, they will come out on top. TCU will need to show the same resilience as they did last weekend against Oklahoma. I give Baylor the slight edge in this game.
Baylor 37 TCU 29
No. 8 Ohio State @ No. 10 Michigan
Time/TV: 12:00 PM EST, Nov. 28 ABC
Outlook: This is going to be a great showdown between two long time hated rivals. John Harbaugh has clearly turned around the program in Ann Arbor and has had this game circled on his calendar since he took the job. The Wolverines are a punt mishap away against Michigan State from potentially this game meaning a birth to the big ten title game and being in the thick of the college football playoff race. The Buckeyes on the hand are coming off of a terrible loss on their home turf against Michigan State and need to rebound quickly against the up and coming Wolverines. The big question with Ohio State is how will they react from last week? Will Ezekiel Elliot get more involved? Will the playcalling get more expanded? Or will the Buckeyes just fold? Needless to say there's a lot of questions to be answered for the Buckeyes. The key to this game in my opinion is how each team starts right out of the gate. I believe Ohio State will in fact bounce back and make the proper adjustments from last week to come out with the victory in Ann Arbor.
Ohio State 24 Michigan 19
No. 22 UCLA @ USC
Time/TV: 3:30 PM EST, Nov. 28 ABC
Outlook: Here's a really good matchup in the pac 12 featuring the Bruins and the Trojans. The Bruins are coming off of a very nice win on the road in Utah while USC is coming off a terrible game against the Oregon Ducks. USC will need to solve this stout UCLA defense and be able to make timely plays. I like UCLA to come out victorious in this game because Josh Rosen will make the plays needed against an average at best defense; The Bruins physical play will set the tone for them as well.
UCLA 31 USC 23
No. 18 Ole Miss @ No. 21 Mississippi State
Time/TV: 7:15 PM EST, Nov. 28 ESPN2
Outlook: The battle for Mississippi will take place in Starkville as the Rebels take on the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs won a thriller last weekend and the Rebels knocked off LSU. Both teams have been playing solid football as of late. Both teams have solid quarterbacks in Dak Prescott and Chad Kelly. This looks to be fairly evenly matched between both teams, however I think Mississippi State has a little more firepower and has the homefield advantage.
Mississippi State 42 Ole Miss 34
No. 6 Notre Dame @ No. 9 Stanford
Time/TV: 7:30 PM EST, Nov. 28 FOX
Outlook: Another significant matchup will take place between Notre Dame and Stanford. Notre Dame will really need to win this game to help boost their chances to get into the college football playoff. With a win, they will have a strong case to get into the top 4, however we shall see. The Cardinal on the other hand look to play spoiler and with some chaos they could get themselves into the heart of the playoff race. The big key to this game for Stanford is how productive tailback Christian McCaffery is against Notre Dame's defense. Deshaun Kizer will need to have a big game for the Irish in a hostile environment. At the end of the day, I give Stanford the edge to knock off Notre Dame.
Stanford 27 Notre Dame 21
No. 13 Florida State @ No. 12 Florida
Time/TV: 7:30 PM EST, Nov. 28 ESPN
Outlook: The battle of the Sunshine State will be in Gainesville this year. The Gators will need to get their act together after a terrible showing almost losing to an underwhelming opponent. The Noles will look to build on a win from last week by getting a big road win against their rivals. I like Florida State to come out on top in this game as Florida has been struggling the last few weeks and Florida State will be too much too handle.
Florida State 27 Florida 17
No. 3 Oklahoma @ No. 11 Oklahoma State
Time/TV: 8:00 PM EST, Nov. 28 ABC
Outlook: Bedlam will have a big say in the college football playoff race. Oklahoma is in the driver's seat to win the big 12 and make the top 4 and a win here would further solidify this. Oklahoma State looks to ruin Oklahoma's great run as of late. Oklahoma has the better defense and is much more balanced on offense. Baker Mayfield is going to play after getting hurt last week and Oklahoma will come out on top at the end of the night.
Oklahoma 42 Oklahoma State 32
Last Week: 5-3
Season Record: 33-19
