Heisman Preview: Henry is the Winner
By Jacob Brandwein

1. Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama

Last Week: 44 carries for 189 yards & 1 touchdown in win vs. Florida

Outlook: Henry further solidified his heisman trophy running season with another great game in the SEC title game. He finished with 1,986 yards rushing and 23 touchdowns on the season. He should win the heisman trophy in a landslide. Anyone that can consistently do what he did in the SEC and endure all of the hits he took from so many carries is heisman material. Overall an amazing season for Henry and he deserves the heisman trophy more than the other candidates.

Stock: Winner

2. Christian McCaffery, RB, Stanford

Last Week: 461 all purpose yards in win vs. USC

Outlook: McCaffery is young and will be a surefire heisman candidate heading into 2016. He capped off a great season with breaking Barry Sanders' single game record for all purpose yards. McCaffery deserves all of the recognition he gets and is among the best in the nation by far at his position.

Stock: Front line candidate into 2016

3. Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson

Last Week: 420 total yards & 5 touchdowns in win vs. North Carolina

Outlook: Watson helped the Tigers have one of their best season's in program history. He didn't do too bad himself both with his arm and his elusive mobility. He will be a front line candidate for the heisman trophy next season as he's only a sophomore.

Stock: Front line candidate heading into 2016

Honorable Mention:

Baker Mayfield

Ezekiel Elliot
